"Ramie" was a son of Solomon Bolan and Mary "Mollie" Vineyard Kirby. Raymond Isaac Kirby married Jane Bell Lawless on April 17, 1920 in Grand Saline, Van Zandt County, Texas and lived most of their married lives in Grand Saline, Texas. They had no children but were remembered very fondly by all family members. Ramie was a farmer most of his life. Ramie died at Cozby Germany Hospital in Grand Saline, Texas of bronchiopneumonia on June 27, 1967.
