Biography
Margaret (Kirby) Philhower was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky.
Margaret Anna Kirby was born on 9 April 1925 in Irvine, Estill, Kentucky, United States, daughter of Homer Kirby and Minnie Frances Wilson.
In the 1930 census Margaret (age 5) was the daughter of Homer Kirby in Hamilton, Butler, Ohio.[1]
In the 1940 census Margaret (age 15) was the single daughter of Minnie Kirby in Lemon Township, Butler, Ohio.[2]
Margaret married Leslie David Philhower on 31 October 1942 in Union County, Indiana.[3] They had five known children together.
In the 1950 census Margret (age 25) was the wife of Leslie D Philhower in Middletown, Lemon Township, Butler, Ohio.[4]
Margaret died (age 77) on 15 September 2002 in Middletown, Butler, Ohio[5] and was buried in Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum in Middletown.[6]
