Biography
From History of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania:
Christian Kircher, contractor, postoffice McKee's Rocks, a son of Adam M. and Elizabeth Kircher, was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., March 17, 1858. His parents were born in Germany, came to this country in 1855, and settled in Allegheny county. His father was a blacksmith in Anderson & Dupuy's steelworks from the time he came to this country until his death, which occurred in October, 1881, when he was aged fifty years; his widow is still living in Pittsburgh. Their children are Christian, George, Peter, Louis, Lizzie, Lotta and William (deceased).
