Martha Kirwin was her first married name.

convict in Tasmania - ship “Blackfriar”

Tried in Dublin 19th June 1850 - transported for 10 years.

First offence, stealing clothes. Martha is listed a single (a widow) with one child on board. She was 5’ 4” tall; a household servant, had brown hair, a fair complexion and grey eyes. In Tasmania, Martha served in a succession of households, receiving her pardon on the 17th June 1856.
