Biography

Sarah was the daughter of Samuel Kissinger and Elizabeth Wilson.

She was enumerated with her initials only in the 1860 Census. Samuel and Elizabeth had six children: Elizabeth Jane (later the wife of Nunson Will), James G. Kessinger, Golson P. Kessinger, daughter S. L. Kessinger b. 1855, son R. F. Kessinger b 1857 and son J. H. Kessinger b. 1859. All their children were born in Missouri. ^[1]

Her parents were both dead by 1870. In that year she was living in the family of Daniel D. Michael of Lincoln, Caldwell, Missouri.
