Mrs. Hilda Kitchens McClure, 78, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at Beverly Manor Convalescent Center.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Gibson, Ga., with the Rev. Clarence Murphy officiating.
Mrs. McClure, a native of Richmond County, was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include a son of Dallas, Georgia; a daughter of Wrens, Georgia; two sisters, Mary Barnes, Mathews, Ga., and Margaret Powner, Indianapolis; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Hilda's name is listed as Hilda Kitchens Casamasas in her father's Will, dated 1950. Records could not be found to match the name of Casamasas.
Her obituary states her last name as McClure, but does not mention her husband's name. Death index records match the name McClure and dates. A marriage record was found for Joseph A McClure, dated 8 Dec 1955 in Yonkers, New York. No other records were found to match or corroborate this record.
