Biography

Floyd was born in 1909. He was the son of Earl Kitelinger and Ena Rice. He passed away in 1986.

When Floyd A Kitelinger was born on June 20, 1909, in Tuscola, Michigan, his father, Earl, was 22 and his mother, Ena, was 21. He married Nilda Lennox on May 28, 1932, in Fairgrove, Michigan. They had one child during their marriage. He died on November 19, 1986, in his hometown at the age of 77, and was buried in Millington, Michigan.

TCA  11-29-1986 Floyd A. Kitelinger of Millington died Wednesday, November 19, 1986 at the Tuscola county Medical Care Facility.  He was 77.  He was born June 19, 1909 in Millington, where he was a life-long resident.  He married the former Nilda Lennox on May 28, 1939 in Fairgrove.  He was employed 46 years by the Tuscola County Road Commission and retired in 1874 as supervisor of road maintenance.   He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. George (Niola) Leach of Millington; five grandchildren, Kendall and Mark Leach and Mrs. Michael (Tracey) Mohr of Vassar , Roger Leach and Mrs. Steve (Nila) Schmandt of Millington; four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Esther) Brummitt, Mrs. C. J. (Evelyn) Bender of Millington, Mrs. Frank (Edna) Garrison of Akron and Mrs. George (Eralene) Dudney of Detroit; one aunt, Verna Schank of Millington; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services were Saturday at Hanlin Funeral Home of Millington with the Rev. Albert Engler officiating.  Burial was in the Millington Township Cemetery.
