Biography
JOSEPH KLIMEK (Nov. 5, 1889-Feb. 27, 1952) married FRANCES ZANDECKI STODOLSKI on Jan. 19, 1928, in Westville, Ill., and resided at 1216 and 1372 Argyle Street in La Salle. She died at the age of 73 of cancer on Christmas Eve. Joseph, born in La Salle, died at the age of 62 of a coronary. Frances and Joseph are buried in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery, La Salle, Ill.

NOTES: Joseph's parents were Jan Klimek (1838-1911) and Angelica Jaskulski (b. about 1840, died after 1917).
On his 1917 Draft Registration card, Joseph stated he was a steam and electrical engineer for Illinois Tractor company. All his later jobs were for power companies, including Illinois Power and Light, and Illinois and Iowa Power Company. He ran a substation in 1940.
Joseph had five children with his first wife, Julia Kaszynski, and one with Frances Zandecki.
