"Known as J. Franklin Kenepp. What follows is taken from his obituary. He was the fourth of nine children. At the time of his death only his sister Minnie Arnold was still living. He was first employed on the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. He married Cassie May Dunn on July 20, 1904 in Cleveland, Ohio. After his marriage he lived in McKee's Rocks, Pennsylvania for six years. After living part of a year in San Antonio, Texas, his wife and he moved to Los Angeles, California, and he was serving as a baggage man on the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad at the time of his death. His death occurred when the passenger train No. 102 derailed near Manix, California. He was a very active member of the Dunkard Church in Los Angeles where he served as a trustee and Sunday school superintendent.
He was buried November 6th, 1921 in the Inglewood Cemetery in Los Angeles, California, US."
