Biography
Caroline was born about 1835 and baptised 31 December 1837, daughter of John and Marie Knight of St Austell[1]
John Pearce married Caroline Knight on 29 August 1858 in Quethiock[2][3]
In the 1861 census, John Pearce (35, lead miner born Kenwyn), wife Carolne (25 born Roach), and children William (10) born St Minver, Thomas (8 born St Minver) and John (1 born Quethiock) are living at Venn Hill, Quethiock[4][5]
In the 1871 census, Caroline Pearce (34, married miners wife born Roach), children Richard Jno (11), Amelia (9), Edwin (7), Bessie Maria (4) and Jane Ann (3), all born Quethiock, are living at "Tochunest village", Quethiock[6]
Caroline Pearce died aged 39 in 1875[7]
