Joan Knollys was born circa 1412 possibly at North Mimms, Hertfordshire, England.[1]
She married William Baron, Esq., Teller of the Exchequer circa 1433.[1][2]
On 13 May 1439, Joan and her husband William were awarded a grant by her father Thomas Knolles of London and others of a shop and other premises in the parish of St. Nicholas in the Shambles, London. [3]
