1. 1870 & 1880 census entries are available.
2. It is possible that wife Susanna Darst is the daughter of Daniel Darst (1804-1865) from his wife Margaret Jane Arnold (nee Miller) - needs research. If true it would conflict with the 1900 census where Susanna's parents were listed as "father born Ohio, mother born Virginia.
