Biography

Jane Dinning married widower Thomas Hedley, son of Thomas Hedley and his wife, Elizabeth Mayors, at St Andrew in Newcastle on 25 October 1859. ^[1] Her husband was a cabinet maker and by 1861 they were living at Blacket Place in Newcastle with Thomas children by his first wife, their daughter, Alice, and Thomas' mother, Elizabeth Hedley.^[2] Despite the growing number of children Jane bore several members of Thomas' first family remained at home for a considerable time. ^[3][4]

Jane died in 1900 aged 77. ^[5]
