Martha, daughter of Julius Knuth and Emilia (Emma) Schultz, was born 29 April 1883 in New York.[1]
On 17 February 1909, Martha (age 25) married Charles Dougherty (age 28), son of Daniel Henry Dougherty and Harriet Cass, at Gesu Church in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The witnesses to the wedding were Charles' siblings, Harvey Dougherty and Genevieve Dougherty.[2] Charles and Martha had no children.
Martha died on 11 December 1938 in Wauwatosa.[1][3]
