Dielman was born in 1720. He was the son of Henrich Kolb and Barbara Fretz. His father was one of five Mennonite brothers who immigrated from Mannheim, Germany. His parents arrived c. 1709 with three of his siblings. They lived in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania their entire life.

Agnes (Kolb) Oberholtzer Nash (b. 1713 - d. 1786) m1. in 1736 to Martin Oberholtzer (b. 1709 - d. 1744), m2. to William Nash (b. 1696 - d. 1760)
David Kolb (b. 1716 - d. 1786) m. Anna Overholt (b. 1721 - d. 1790)
Dielman Kolb (b.c. 1720 - d. 26 Oct 1789)
Dielman married Elizabeth Overholt (b. 1723 - d. c. 1785) daughter of Jacob Oberholtzer.[1]
Together, they had the following children:
Henry Kulp (b. 1745 - d. 1804)
Death and Burial:
Dielman passed away 26 Oct 1789. His burial place is unmarked, but he died in Bedminster Township and is probably buried in the Old Deep Run Mennonite Cemetery.[2]
Research Notes
An inaccurate history of Dielman was completed by Davis, W.W.H. in his book, "History of Bucks County" (see page 586. Davis makes a number of incorrect connections with this family. There were a number of men named Dielman Kolb in this area at the time and it has caused some confusion.
