Death Notice is here : "South Africa, Cape Province, Probate Records of the Master of the High Court, 1834-1989," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSQF-V9F9-J?cc=2517051&wc=WV44-SZL%3A1598082378 : 28 September 2018), 007844944 > image 1675 of 2153; Pietermaritzburg Archives (Formerly Natal State Archives), South Africa.

Spelling of 2nd name appears to be Hachular (per Death notice).

Hi Sharon

The names of the children of George and Margaret Kolbe were all derived from the Bible. Hachilah is the name of a place in Israel where Saul took refuge (https://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Hachilah.html). According to my records and the HRC genealogical research dept the name is Hachilah and I will need more proof than the death notice before changing it to a meaningless Hachilar. Thank you for your help nonetheless!

Hello Gerson,

That's great, thank you! I changed it because it keeps showing up as an error in my suggestions feed and the only reference to the name I could find was from the Death Notice, in order to mark it as corrected (which is now done) so it shouldn't show up again as an error. Do you by any chance have any information on the Spiller's that could add to those profiles?

Unfortunately I do not have any information on the Spiller family. I mostly concentrate on the Kolbe line. We seem to have reached a dead end at Johann Gottlieb (John Gottlob) Kolbe although the names of Michael John Kolbe is mentioned it doesn't fit my family history of Johann Gottlieb being an Immigrant from Germany to England. We need more proof of that.
