Darlene was born in 1931. She was the daughter of Ben Kraayenbrink and Jeanette van Roekel.
Mrs. Moss was born August 27, 1931 on a farm near Sioux Center, Iowa. She was a graduate of Sioux Center High School.
On February 8, 1950 she married Peter Moss at Sioux Center. They farmed in the Hospers vicinity until they retired in 1991 and moved into Hospers in 1992.
Darlene was an active member of the First Reformed Church of Hospers, in the Reformed Church Women's Ministries, and a spiritual leader in community prayer groups.
She passed away in 1996.
