Michael was born on 9 September 1816. His parents were George Kring and
Magdalene Mary Stump.[1]
He married Catherine Biesecker on 30 April 1840 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, Somerset, Pennsylvania.[2]
In 1850 he lived in Jenner, Somerset, Pennsylvania, with his wife Catherine born 1821 in Pennsylvania. Children were John, 1841; Frederick, 1843; Mary, 1845; Lydia, 1848, and George S., 1840.[3]
He died on 30 June 1852 at Jenners, Somerset, Pennsylvania.
He is buried at Saint James Lutheran Church, Boswell,
Somerset, Pennsylvania.[4]
