Biography

Emma was the third child of Julius Kronk and Marie (Lehmann) Kronk.^[1]

Sandhurst was renamed BENDIGO in 1891

She was the first daughter born after two boys. She had seven siblings in total.

In 1883 she married John Lawson Campbell in the Council Club Hotel, Castlemaine, Victoria.^[2]

Emma and John had 8 children. The first three of their children were born in various Victorian locations before they moved north to Queensland. Two more children were born in Queensland before they moved south again, back to Victoria where the last three of their children were born.

Her husband passed away in 1899 and she never remarried

She passed away in 1926 aged 67 years^[3]

Emma is buried in the Bendigo cemetery with John Campbell and Maud Agnes Campbell - Mon D6, grave 21001, interment 026842. Date of service January 2, 1926^[4]
