In 1860 he was living in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.[2] The household included Jacob Kolb age 60, Anna Kolb age 56, Jonas Kolb age 21, William Kolb age 18, Jacob Kolb age 12 and Anna Kolb age 9, all born in Pennsylvania. Jacob was a Mennonite preacher. Jonas was a master carpenter. William was a farm laborer.
Jonas Kulp and Mary Swartley were married in Milford Square, Bucks, Pennsylvania.[1]
He was married when he registered for the Civil War draft in Upper Salford, Pennsylvania.[3]
In 1880 he was living in Rich, Anderson, Kansas.[4] The household included Jonas A Culp age 40, wife Mary Culp age 38, daughter Mellie Culp age 15, daughter Anna Culp age 13, son John Culp age 11, daughter Caroline Culp age 8, daughter Alice Culp age 6, daughter Sallie Culp age 3, and George F Kyner age 30, all born in Pennsylvania. Jonas was a carpenter and a farmer. George was a farm laborer.
In 1895 he was living in Anderson, Smith, Kansas.[5] The household included J A Kulp age 56, M A Kulp age 53 and S Kulp age 18, all born in Pennsylvania.
In 1910 he was living in Lone Elm, Anderson, Kansas.[6] The household included Jonas A Kulp age 71 born in Pennsylvania, wife Mary Ann Kulp age 68 born in Pennsylvania, son John S Kulp age 40 born in Pennsylvania, daughter-in-law Kate P Kulp age 40 born in Iowa, grandson Carl S Kulp age 16 born in Kansas and granddaughter Gladys N Kulp age 14 born in Kansas. Jonas was a farmer. John was a farm laborer. Mary Ann was the mother of 8 children, 5 living. Kate was the mother of 2 children, both living.
In 1915 he was living in Lone Elm Township, Anderson, Kansas.[7] The household included Jonas Kulp age 76 and Mark Kulp age 74, both born in Pennsylvania.
He is buried in Lone Elm Cemetery, Lone Elm, Anderson County, Kansas.[9]
