The town Schweizer Reneke is now part of North West. The farm Schweizer Reneke (1897) it was part of the Cape Colony and in the huge district of Beaufort West. If we refer to the joint Testament drawn up in 1877 this becomes very clear An interesting fact I came across while investigating the possibility that I have misread the details on the Death Notice and the information added to the Last Will and Testament :North West was created after the end of Apartheid in 1994, and includes parts of the former Transvaal Province and Cape Province, as well as most of the former Bantustan of Bophuthatswana.
