Biography

Marguerite Lacerte was born and baptized in 13 Feb 1795 in Sainte-Anne parish in Yamachiche. She was the daughter of Paul Vacher dit Lacerte and Marie Lesieur. At age 23 Marguerite married François Caron on 30 Mar 1818 in Sainte-Anne parish in Yamachiche; Caron died at age 28 some 18 months after their marriage. At age 27 Marguerite married Calixte Heroux on 15 Apr 1822 in Sainte-Anne parish in Yamachiche. There were five known children born into this marriage. Marguerite died at age 40 on 26 Aug 1835 in Yamachiche; she was buried two days later on 28 Aug in Sainte-Anne parish cemetery.
