John was born in Pennsylvania about 1780. Some of his brother’s were named James, William, Genn, and Benjamin. He then moved to Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Kentucky and Illinois. Andrew (j or L) Hamilton and Sara Jane Hamilton are also on the Census for 1850. These are believed to be the grandchildren of John and Elizabeth Lamb.
