Richard Hannibald Arthur Lamp was born on 9 May 1888 in Kilkerran, South Australia.[1] His father was Claus Wilhelm Lamp and his mother was Elise Schappkoln.
Richard married Clara Victoria Cox in Western Australia in 1911 when he was 23 years old.[2] They had 5 children together.
Richard died on 6 July 1965 in Gosnells, Western Australia, when he was 77 years old.[3] He was cremated and his ashes scattered over the garden at Karrakatta Cemetery.[4]
