THE PEARL RIVER NEWS. JULY 9 1885 DIED. AT HIS RESIDENCE IN MARION CO. MISS, AFTER A PROTRACTED ILLNESS , B. LAMPTON , OF THE FIRM OF B. LAMPTON &SONS OF TYLERTOWN , AND B. LAMPTON AND &SONS OF COLUMBIA , MISS. TRULY HAS ONE OF NATURE'S NOBLE SONS BEEN SIZED BY THAT GRIM MONSTER, DEATH. HIS FUNERAL TOOK PLACE FROM CHINA GROVE METHODIST CHURCH YESTERDAY, ATTENDED BY HIS HUNDREDS OF FRIENDS AND RELATIVES . AN EXTENDED NOTICE OF HIS LIFE AND SICKNESS WILL APPEAR NEXT WEEK , WHICH IS NOW BEING PREPARED BY A FRIEND.
