Biography

Sarah Elizabeth Land^[1][2] was born 16 November 1855^[2] in Madison County, Kentucky^[2] to Shelton Land^[2] and Lucinda (Cooley) Land^[2].

She married Elijah Comely on 12 November 1873^[3] in Madison County, Kentucky^[3]. Their children included Ida^[4], Smiley^[5], Eugene^[6], Cordelia, and Lou.

Elizabeth appears in the 1860^[7] and 1870^[1] censuses with her parents and siblings, and in the 1880^[8] and 1900^[9] censuses with her husband and children.

She passed away 28 August 1917^[2] in Newby, Kentucky^[2] from flux^[2] and was buried in Gilead Cemetery, Kirksville, Kentucky^[2].
