MY GRANDMOTHER REFERRED TO HIM AS THE BLACKSHEEP OF THE FAMILY. HE WORKED WITH HORSES---SURREY HORSE RACES. HE AND MY GRANDMOTHER WERE NOT ON SPEAKING TERMS. HE HELPED RAISE HIS 2 SONS; TED, JR AND BOB.
