Biography

Alexander was born in 1834. He was the son of Joseph Lane and Mary Campbell. He passed away in 1902.

  • When Alexander C Lane was born on 8 August 1834, in Van Buren, Tennessee, United States, his father, Joseph Warren Lane, was 44 and his mother, Mary Lavinia Campbell, was 43. He married Franka Hamilton on 23 July 1859, in Polk, Missouri, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Van Buren, Crawford, Arkansas, United States in 1880 and Justice Precinct 6, Bell, Texas, United States in 1900. He died on 16 December 1902, in Canton, Van Zandt, Texas, United States, at the age of 68, and was buried in High Cemetery, Van Zandt, Texas, United States.

In the 1850 census Alexander (age 17) was in Van Buren, Tennessee, United States.[1]

Alexander married Franky N. Hambilton on 23 July 1859 in Polk, Missouri, United States.[2]

In the 1860 census Alexander (age 27) was in Looney Township, Polk, Missouri, United States.[3]

In the 1870 census Alexander (age 36) was the head of household in Jackson Township, Polk, Missouri, United States.[4]

In the 1880 census A (age 45), Farmer, was the married head of household in Van Buren, Crawford, Arkansas, United States.[5]

In the 1900 census Alexander (age 67) was the married head of household in Justice Precinct 6, Bell, Texas, United States.[6]

Alexander died on 16 December 1902 and was buried in Canton, Van Zandt, Texas, United States.[7][8]

Alexander's daughter Nancy Angeline Hall died in 1931 in Wylam, Jefferson, Alabama, United States.[9]

Alec's son Joseph W Lane died on 22 November 1939 in Haskell, Haskell, Texas, United States.[10][11]
