Biography

William John Lang was born on February 2, 1880, in Ontario. He married Evelena Marie Harman on February 19, 1900, in Ontario. They had 9 children during their marriage.

William John Lang enlisted in the CEF on 04 September 1915 in Toronto. He was gassed at the Somme in 1916 and spent the remainder of the war in & out of hospital, both in Europe & Toronto. Son James Lang was born around 1918. By 1921 William John Lang had deserted his wife & 9 children.

Although it is not certain about the Certificate of Registration of Death, this is likely the death record for William John Lang born 1880.
