Ella was born on 11 May 1895 in Jefferson, Jefferson, Wisconsin, United States. She was the daughter of Johan William Nicolaus Langholff and Nanette M. (Neupert) Langholff.[1][2]

Ella was baptised on 9 June 1895 in St Johns Luthern Church, Jefferson, Wisconsin, United States.

When Ella was 18 she married Arthur Moldenhaur on 9 July 1913. The couple had 2 children: Esther Moldenhaur and Alvin Moldenhaur.[3][4]

Ella was buried in April 1972 in Union Cemetary, Ft Atkinson, Jefferson, Wisconsin, United States.
