Gordon was born in 1900. His parents, Guy Langmade and Bertha Edington, were both dead by 1907. He lived in Concord, New York with his maternal grandparents Thomas and Martha Edington at the time of the 1910 and 1915 censuses.[1][2] The census of 1920 lists him as boarding with his sister's adoptive parents Benjamin and Myrtle Robley.[3] He passed away in 1921 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery in Springville, New York.[4]
