He married Mary Dove bef 1710 in Middlesex, NJ. She was a daughter of Alexander Dove and Jane or Janet Gordon and was born abt 1690 in Woodbridge, Middlesex, NJ. Children:
He wrote his Will 26 Aug 1760 and died sometime before 26 May 1761 when the Will was proved in Piscataway, Middlesex, NJ. He was buried at Saint James Episcopal Church Cemetery. Edison, Middlesex, NJ
1760, Aug 26. Langstaff, John, of Piscataway, Middlesex Co.; will of. Wife, Mary, use of all personal and real, while my widow. Grandson, John Langstaff, son of John Langstaff, deceased, lands south of Ambrose Brook, and 1/2 of new lots of salt meadow in Piscataway Salt meadows, the north 1/2 of the 5 acre lot, and the east end of the other lot; and, if he die without issue, then the land south of Ambrose Brook, to be divided between my son Henry, and my three daughters, Charlotte, Mary and Martha, and my two Grandaughters, Sarah and Priscilla, daughters of John Langstaff, deceased. The said John Langstaff shall pay to his sister, Sarah Langstaff, £40. Son, Henry, 1/2 of two lots of salt meadows in Piscataway, the south end of 5-acre lot, and west end of other lot. Grandsons John and William Hopkins, sons of my daughter Sarah Hopkins, deceased, each £5. Executors- Wife, Mary, and son. Henry. Witnesses- David Conger, John Willson, Jr., John Arnold.
