Biography
Peggy was born in 1920. She is the daughter of Cyril Lansell and Lila Charlton (Anthony)[1]
In 1941 she married Clifford Kelvin Churches in Victoria[2]

St Johns Toorak was the setting yesterday evening for the quiet wedding of Miss Peggy Vane Lansell to Surgeon Lieut Clifford Kelvin Churches RANR celebrated by Rev W L Clarke. The bride who is the only daughter of Mrs W L Podmore of Linlithgow rd Toorak and of the late Mr C V Lansell formerly of Bendigo was given away by Mr W L Podmore. Her gown was of heavy magnolia crepe cut on classic lines, Mother-of-pearl roses caught her tulle veil. A dusty-pink frock and a matching Watteau hat of curled feathers were worn by Miss Enid Trescowthick, bridesmaid. Captain Clive Pyman AAMC attended the bridegroom who is the only son of Mr and Mrs H. C. Churches of Park st Moonee Ponds. The ceremony was followed by a small reception at the bride's home.[3]
In 1971 she married Eric Scott (1891-1982) in Victoria
She passed away in 2022 aged 102 years

Peggy passed away peacefully at Arcare, Malvern East, on 19.7.2022 after a long, interesting and fulfilling life. Daughter of Lila and Cyril Lansell (both dec). Sister of Eric, Lance and Cyril Lansell (all dec). Mother of Kaye and Anthony (both dec). Grandmother of Caroline, Cameron (dec) and Matthew Welsh And great grandmother of nine.[4]
