Janet Viola, daughter of Everett Wilson Lapoidvin and his wife Annie Winnifred Lepoidevin née Thompson was born October 2nd 1916. She was baptized in St Andrew's Church on the 29th day of the same month. Witnesses William Flowers and FA Asstels, no signatures.[1]
On November 3rd 1941, in St James' Church, Saint John, N.B., Fred Bowser, sailor on the H.M.S. Captor II ship, bachelor, age 24, born Lower Lakeville N.S., son of Louis Bowser born in N.S., and Egalda Enid Gibbons married Janet Viola Le Poidvin, waitress at Union Club, 25 year old spinster, living in St John, N.B., born in New Carlisle, P.Q., daughter of Everett Le Poidvin, born in Québec and Minnie Thompson. Both could read and write. Witnesses were a shipmate of the groom, Douglas Joudrey and Marie Berth Marr, all parties signed.[2]
Janet V Bowser died in 1974 and was buried in Saint Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Westfield, Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada.[3]
