Philip Larrabee was born on 2 July 1783 in Scarborough, Maine. His parents were Phillip Larrabee and Sally (Smith) Larrabee.
He married Polly Grant on 12 November 1812 in Gorham. They had three children:
1. Nancy, born 2 Sep 1813; married James Storer
2. James G., born 14 Nov 1818; married Elizabeth S. Pike
3. Ivory K., born 26 Jun 1823; married Betsey H. Hodgdon[1]
Philip was an army sergeant and served in the Maine Volunteer Militia called up during the War of 1812[2]. He passed away on 7 September 1872 and is buried in South Gorham Cemetery in Gorham, Maine[3].
