Alfred Ewing Latimer was born on 25 Jun 1865 in Manchester, England, son of Joseph Latimer (1814 - 1868) and Emily Elizabeth (Barling) Latimer (1824 - 1893).

His siblings were:

  3. Emily Rachel (Latimer) Hawtrey (1855 - 1947)
  4. Joseph Barling Latimer (1857 - 1901)

Alfred married Mary Anne Mitchell (1873 - 1942) in 1905 in Waverley, New South Wales, Australia.[1] Their children were:

  1. Madge Lillian (Latimer) Black (1908 - 1984)
  2. Keith I. Latimer (1900s - 1970s).

Alfred died in 1943 in Lidcombe, New South Wales, Australia aged ~77.
