Biography
George was born in 1865 in Herring Cove, Nova Scotia to Henry Latter and Margaret Perrin.[1]
At age 9, George's father Henry died in 1875. In his will, Henry bequeathed his land to George and his brother Henry B. Latter.[2]
Like his father, George was a fisherman.
He married Cecelia Adams in 1887 in Herring Cove.[3] They had 5 children together there.
George passed away in 1933 in Herring Cove,[4] and is buried in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery.[5]
