Biography
Joseph Octave Squeret Latulippe was born on 1 Sep 1835 and was baptized the next day in Saint-François-d'Assise parish in Beaucevile, Bas-Canada. He was the son of Pierre Querette, farmer, and Théotiste Fortin of this parish. Sponsors at Octave's baptism were Jean Squeret dit Laptulippe and Modeste Fortin; Modeste Fortin signed the register.
At age 39 Octave married Marie Célina Pouliot on 30 Sep 1874 in Saint-Jean parish on L'Ile d'Orléans, Québec, Canada. There were six children born into this marriage.
