Biography

John George Lau was born January 18, 1754, and christened February 17, 1754, at Christ Lutheran Church in York, York County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Peter Lau and Susanna Lau.^[1]

He married Magdalena Lau and had the fillowing known children:^[2]

4. Daniel Lau,
5. Eve, wife of George Lau;
6. Margaret, wife of George Baker;
7. Polly, wife of David Kleindinst,
8. Catharine Lau.

He died in 1808 and was buried at Wolf's Cemetery in West Manchester Township, York, Pennsylvania.^[2]
