Biography
Anna la Venuta is born and baptized on 29 September 1833 in Corleone. She is the daughter of Giovanni la Venuta and Giuseppa Castro. Anna is named after her maternal grandmother, as is traditional for the second daughter. Her godparents are Francesco Puccio and Anna Maria Trubmatore, who are not married.[1]
Anna marries Calogero Mondello, son of the late Luciano Mondello and Anna Saccaro, on 9 February 1851. Anna's parents are both living.[2]
Anna's mother, Giuseppa, dies on 9 January 1862.
Anna dies at age 29 (b. 1833) on 30 December 1862. Her husband survives her. The record of her death is not clear whether her parents are living; her mother is known to have died, and Giovanni to have survived her death.[3]
