Biography
Amable Lavoie, son of Louis Côme Lavoie and Rosalie Syroid, married Ursule St-Laurent, daughter of Jean-Pierre St-Laurent and Genevieve McKynen, on 6 Febraury 1815 in Rimouski.[1] Amable Lavoie died on 22 March 1855 in Sainte-Luce, and was buried four days later. He was said to be about 63 years old at the time of his death.[2]
