Mary Robb Law was born on 17 April 1912 in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, Scotland, daughter of John Law and Ann Love (Grant) Law.^[1][2][3]

She married Joseph Hunter in 1934 in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, Scotland.^[4] They had 2 children.

In the 1939 register Mary (age 27), Unpaid Domestic Duties, was recorded as married at 74, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.^[2]
