On the 22nd July 1894, George married Ann Amy Cheeseman at St. Andrew, Buckland next Dover, Kent, England. George Lawrence, 20, bachelor, White Smith of 76 London Road, son of George Lawrence (coachman); and Amy Ann Cheeseman, 20, spinster of 76 London Road, daughter of Joseph Newing (Brick maker).
