Squire Laws is a part of US Black heritage.

Squire, a child of Dilcy Laws, lived at Stagville Plantation in Orange Co, NC. He was a slave owned by Thomas D. Bennehan.

In 1833 Thomas D. Bennehan received Squire and his mother from Elizabeth Laws through her will and estate.[1][2]
