Dorothy Marie Laws was born 13 December 1933 in Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William O Laws and Danah B Mullins.[1]

James, Betty, Jesse, Wyvona, and William Jr attended school within the census year. William Sr, Danah, and James completed 8th grade, Betty completed 6th grade, Jesse completed 3rd grade, Wyvona completed 4th grade, and William Jr completed 2nd grade. The household was in the same location in 1935, and all were born in Pennsylvania except Danah, born in Virginia.[2]

Dorothy M. Hall, 71, of Normalville, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, while surrounded by her loving family in Mountainview Specialty Care, Latrobe. She was born Dec. 13, 1933, in Connellsville a daughter of the late William and Danah Mullins Laws. She was Protestant by faith. Dorothy is survived by her husband, James T. Hall Sr.; a son, James T. Hall Jr. and wife Louise, of Mill Run; four daughters, Diane Woods and husband William, of Adelaide, Connie Honaker and husband Ben, of Mill Run, Cathy Younkin and husband James, of Mill Run, and Tina Sechrist and husband James, of Connellsville; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; two brothers, James Walker and wife Dolores, of Connellsville, and Alvis Laws and wife Eleanor, of Normalville, and a sister, Jean Richter, of New Kensington. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by a sister, Betty Walker, and four brothers, William Laws, Lester Laws, David Laws and Jess Walker. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville, from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until 10 a.m. Wednesday, the hour of the service with the Rev. Rick Puildo officiating. A fellowship meal will be held at the Clinton Community Center following interment in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Normalville.
