Sarah (Lawson) Myers lived in Appalachia, in Mississippi.
Sarah Jane (Lawson) Myers was born in 1815 in Tennessee, United States. Her father was George W. Lawson (1796 - 1863). Sarah Jane's maiden name of Lawson comes from the Arkansas death certificate of her daughter, Martha Jane Myers Winningham. Reviewing 1840 and 1850 census records George Lawson lived next door or very close to the Myers family. He was the only possible Lawson to be her father. Autosomal DNA with multiple descendants reflects this relationship.
Sarah died in 1878 in Alcorn County, Mississippi aged ~63.
