24 August 1733, Robert Lawton of Portsmouth, yeoman, sells to Stephen Talman of Portsmouth, esq., three lots of land in Tiverton in Pocasset Purchase; one being the 25th lot, containing one hundred and twenty acres; one being the 27th lot containing fifty acres; and one other, being the 30th lot.[2]
22 May 1735, Elizabeth Lawton of Portsmouth, widow to the within named Robert Lawton, yields up to Stephen Talman her right of dower in all the within mentioned planted and bargained lands.[3]
