Biography
Robert Lear was born on 24 Nov 1828 in Gerard, Kentucky. [His marriage record states he was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.] He is enumerated in the 1850 census in Jesse Lair's household.[1] Robert married Sophia Sigman 1 February 1852 in Rockcastle County.[2] He died 27 May 1896 in Brodhead, Rockcastle County, Kentucky, aged 67.[3]
