Biography
Solomon James B. Leard, son of John and Margeret Leard, was born on 8 February 1840 at Tryon, Prince Edward Island. His baptism was recorded in the Bedeque United Church register on 16 December 1840.[1]
Adelia and Soloman Leard had the following children[2]:
- Alma Hattie, born January 1875, died 13 August 1875 at Crapaud, PEI.
- Elizabeth D Leard, born March 1876, died 1923, Calgary, Alberta, married Norman Montague Plummer.
- Robert Bruce Leard, born 1879, PEI, died 1970, Red Deer, Alberta, married Abigail Cremmen.
- Millicent Howatt Leard, born May 1884, PEI, died Nov 1884, PEI.
