Biography

Josephine was born on 9 March 1859. She was the daughter of Pierre LeDoux and Clara Manuel. [1]

She married Ortere Manuel on 10 Jan 1882 in Ville Platte, Louisiana after obtaining a marriage license the previous month in Opelousas. [2]

Her tombstone lists her birthdate as 9 March 1859. Perhaps the 3 May date is for her baptism.
